Start a game

In Claude

  1. Open Tangle in Claude. It runs on claude.ai, and you don't need a Claude account.
  2. Press Start 90-second round, or pick Today's board to play the same board as everyone else today.
  3. If a Team room shows at the top, you can start a live round: everyone with the page open plays the same board at once.

In ChatGPT Coming soon

Tangle is on its way to ChatGPT, so you'll be able to start a round from a chat. Until then, play in Claude or your browser. Challenge links open for anyone.

In your browser

  1. Open Tangle on the web on any phone or computer.
  2. Pick Today's board or New board, or type in a code a friend sent you.

The web version has solo play and challenges. Team rounds are in Claude only for now.

Invite your friends

  1. Finish a roundAny board works: today's, a new one, or a code from a friend.
  2. Copy your challengeUnder Challenge a friend, add your name if you like and press Copy challenge.
  3. Send itPaste it into a group chat, a text or a DM.
  4. They play your boardThe link opens the same board with your score to beat. No account needed.

Rather send a code? Every board has a four-character code, like KXQ7. Friends type it under Pick a board. Or all play Today's board: it's the same for everyone each day.
